Donatella Versace and Revolve Are Building a New Fashion and Beauty Brand
Donatella Versace is entering a new chapter with Revolve Group. The designer has announced a joint venture with the digital fashion retailer to launch a new fashion and beauty brand, for which she will serve as creative director.
The name of the brand has not yet been revealed, nor have the first products. The venture will debut with beauty, with the initial offering expected to be unveiled in the coming months before expanding into fashion.
“I believe creativity should be bold, inclusive, and alive in the world,” Versace said. “I’ve always been inspired by the next generation—in music, film, art, and, of course, fashion. This collaboration gives me the freedom to speak to that generation in a completely new and personal way, through beauty and fashion.”
The partnership brings together Versace’s creative direction and cultural influence with Revolve’s consumer technology, operating infrastructure, and direct relationship with its global audience. The brand will initially target the United States, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
“Donatella is one of the defining creative voices of our time,” said Michael Mente, Revolve Group’s co-founder and co-CEO. “This collaboration gives that vision an entirely new platform and the freedom to build something from the ground up.”
The project is expected to extend beyond products, with Revolve describing plans for a broader digital universe designed around participation and community rather than traditional retail alone. Its media ecosystem—including social platforms, podcasts, YouTube programming, and proprietary events—will form part of the wider infrastructure supporting the new venture.
While details of the brand’s aesthetic remain under wraps, Versace’s visual language offers an obvious point of reference: unapologetic glamour, sensuality, bold color, and a deep connection between fashion and popular culture. The new label, however, will give the designer an opportunity to reinterpret those codes for a new generation and across categories beyond traditional luxury fashion.
The move follows Versace’s transition away from the creative leadership of the Versace house. After nearly three decades shaping the brand following the death of her brother Gianni, Donatella became its chief brand ambassador in 2025. Prada Group subsequently acquired Versace from Capri Holdings in April 2025.
Now, through a new partnership with Revolve, she is once again building from the ground up—this time with a brand entirely shaped around her own creative direction and a new generation of consumers.
